Continuing the Laughs Podcast 138

In the first part of this two-part podcast, Andrew Pudewa and Julie Walker discussed the many benefits of incorporating humor into teaching. In the second part of the series, Podcast 138, the laughs continue. Categorizing eleven different styles of humor, Andrew describes each one, sharing examples and jokes that embody each type. Calling humor a â€Å"mini vacation,† Andrew encourages all educators to introduce a little humor into their teaching. Teaching is a difficult vocation, and injecting a little humor makes the day more enjoyable and the learning more attainable. Do you think you’re not naturally funny? No sweat! Humor is a skill that can be studied and learned. Don’t miss this podcast. It may be just the cure you and your students need to carry you through the remaining long weeks of school and usher you into the blissful days of summer. E.E. Cummings, a famous poet, once said, â€Å"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.† Don’t go another day without it. It really is good for the soul!
